How does Tiktokenizer process prompt text?
Prompt text and chat messages are processed in your browser. The current project has no API route that receives prompt content, and the tokenizer does not call a model provider. Tiktokenizer does not save prompt bodies, sell prompt data, or send prompt content to analytics. A future server-side feature would require a code and policy update before release.
Does Tiktokenizer upload prompt text?
No. The current tokenizer loads its compatible encoding in the browser and analyzes the text on the device. It does not upload the prompt, System message, User message, Assistant message, pasted code, or token IDs to Tiktokenizer or an AI provider. External source links open separate websites only after the user chooses them.
What data does Tiktokenizer exclude from analytics?
The event interface excludes System, User, and Assistant message text; pasted code; uploaded document contents; full token lists; complete token IDs; and file contents. The project has no upload feature and no account system. Allowed analytics fields are limited to operational categories such as page path, model, provider, and coarse token or cost ranges.
Is Tiktokenizer analytics currently configured?
Yes. Tiktokenizer uses Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-SW2SBCDDT0 to measure page views and privacy-limited product interactions. Google Analytics may process device, browser, approximate location, cookie, and usage information under Google's terms. Tiktokenizer does not include prompt text, pasted code, document contents, complete token IDs, or full token lists in its analytics events.
What hosting data can Vercel process for Tiktokenizer?
Tiktokenizer is currently deployed through Vercel. Vercel may process ordinary request and security data under its own privacy notice, including information associated with access to a hosted site. Tiktokenizer does not claim a specific infrastructure-log retention period here; consult Vercel's current notice for provider-controlled processing and contact the publisher once a monitored privacy address is available.
What happens when you open external or affiliate links?
Official pricing sources and future affiliate destinations are separate websites with their own privacy policies. Opening a third-party link leaves Tiktokenizer and may allow that destination to receive ordinary request or referral data under its own terms.
